SBCC
SBCC or Social Behaviour Change Communication is the strategic use of communication to promote positive health outcomes, based on proven theories and models of behaviour change. They usually include messaging using billboards, radio, flyers, t-shirts and on-the-ground sensitisations.
Having worked 13 years in Tanzania I have been involved with several different SBCC campaigns, implemented by either an NGO or by the Tanzanian Ministry of Health.
